according to me Euthanasia should be legalized because people who are suffering from euthanasia are in a mental pain, unbearable pain they should be allowed for ending there lives in peace.......they should be given freedom from intolerable pain....many a times it happen that relatives of suffering are financially unsound and are emotionally disturbed.....and the sufferer itself is in a great pain so this the reason why euthanasia should be legalized......

Yes, according to me Euthanasia should be legalized. The quality of life that a person is spending being in a vegetable state cannot be overlooked. Euthanasia is a compassionate way of ending the pain. Being kept alive artificially could be a trouble for the family. In a terminal diseases doctors can do nothing and this waiting time for the patient and the family is very painful. moreover one has to be practical in life...wasting time and money cannot make a person relieved from his pain. Therefore I believe that euthanasia should be legalized.

Lets think of it this way.... 1. let set up a medical commission under health ministry for euthanasia . 2. They will take up each ongoing case regarding application for mercy death ! 3. After they have verified the vegetative state of the terminally ill patient , will they reccomend . I understand the view pint of right to live.....but then again one has the right to die ...freedom from the intolerable pain.... I suppose one needs a more neutral look at this issue as there are many who would be better if we releive them of their mortal bodies ....

it should be legal in our country ... because who applies for Euthanasia suffers through UNBEARABLE pain ... n his/her family also suffers a lot through financial , mental pain ... so it should be legal .. with # Legal Terms

the word "euthanasia itself means "rightful death"....so we cannot consider it as illegel....but the thing is that strict laws should be followed here...

Suicide is an act of hoplessnes and god wants us to always be hopeful for a better change. Even the most sinnester person in this world should be hopeful that God will bless his soul even for the most attroscities he commited in this world. God is the no doubt going to forgive if you ask for forgivness then why ask for death. God forgives your sins because you belive he will forgive you he forgives you because you have a hope in God. Commiting suicide herts the heart of God as those who commits suicides don't have any hope in God. Why Legalise something which is illegal in God's court. Just because evil is glamorous and good has become boring we are walking into devils trap. Just because we cant live glamorous lives we end it because we don't want to be in the path of boringness. Suicide is a devils pass for hell if you learn it. So why don't we just take heaven express in try to live happily everafter. Lets say no to Euthanasia.

in my opinion a law allowing euthanasia will only open a Pandora's box. Medical Science is yet to establish and define that exact point which is considered point-of-no-return fro comatose patient. what they generally do is PRESUME that once a patient attains a vegetative stage it is almost impossible for the person to recover. there are several such documented instances where a comatose patient has recovered even as the medical fraternity remains surprised and even go to the extent of calling it a miracle. On the other hand, when we talk of assisted suicide at the consent of the terminally ill person, the point that we are overlooking here is, can a person who is undergoing such emotional as well as physical pain give a consent out of his free will? the answer is no, it is not a free will it is clearly a consent under duress. Instead of having such "easy-way-out" law the government or say organisations such as WHO should think about beating diseases which are so far termed as "terminal" through investing in cutting edge research in such field. Moreover, the Supreme Court, in its judgment has used phrases like "exceptional circumstances", which again is remains undefined and hence is subjective and will vary as per the expertise of doctors. A person cannot be allowed to take which he cannot return, by which I mean a life.

Yes , it may get misused and it is the duty of us , the citizens, that it should never be allowed to be misused. Passive Euthanasia, as suggested by the honorable supreme court, is a good option as it leaves a little margin for the misuse.
