Things have not yet gone from out hands. In fact the fast paced awareness across the Globe made it possible to check the environment damage. Still lot of things to do and the government has to take bold steps in implementing the things and to make people follow. Education is another factor. I can cite an example where a Physics professor at Biswabharati has managed to lower the individual carbon footprint. Has has no pumps, no electricity and many hand made things to save energy thus lowers the emissions. If a professor can do this, why not we. Even at this rapid urbanisation era, most of the developers and the dwelleres are taking initiatives to make the compound green. Kolkata has got clean air since the abolition of the old vehicles. I am positive.
